Lupus
is an autoimmune disease. It causes the body's immune system - which
usually defends against infection - to mistakenly turn on itself. As yet,
the cause is unknown, but scientists are working diligently to find both
the cause and a cure for this devastating disease. Here in the Washington
metro area, over 30,000 people have lupus.
Now you can help us to fight lupus by supporting the Lupus Foundation of Greater
Washington. Drawing
will be held July 28, 2001 at 4:00 p.m. Prize claimant must be 18 years of
age or older. Winners assumes all license fees, State and Federal taxes.
Payments for raffle tickets are not tax deductible.
